iA theological retreat This retreat concentrates on the historical Names given to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit and how we have come to learn about the Lord through these Names – yes even the ones we can’t pronounce. Each person chose a name that they were to embody for the weekend and a person who selected that name also anonymously that would pray for that person and share what they learned about the Name and the person who wore it. The highlight for many was the Scriptural scavenger hunt that filled in the answers to a word puzzle that were clues to the final result. Some got the answer before they started, but still wanted to find the clues. Others struggled right to the end and were given “hints” by the rest of the group until they finally got the answer. We all learned that names are very important to the expression of our faith and identity.
